Founder
Ethics for AI and Automated Decision Making
Aurelie is an active member of Sydney's Fintech eco-system with a passion for Blockchain and AI. She is the founder of a professional working group focusing on ‘Ethics for AI and Automated Decision Making (ADM)’.

In this working group, she connects local & international professionals and researchers across industries & disciplines (lawyers, engineers, marketers, academia). The aim of the group is to define what ethical frameworks should be required for AI and ADM.

The group bases its work on the insights of international research from organisations such as the IEEE, the European Parliament Legal Affairs Committee, and the UK government’s Robotics and AI’s enquiry, amongst others.

Separately from her initiatives around Ethics and AI, Aurelie is working as senior legal counsel for a European Financial Services Institution in Sydney and has over 10 years experience in Financial Services. She also lectured in law at the University of New Wales, and before that she was a litigator at Allens and Minters. She obtained her postgraduate and undergraduate degrees from both France and Australia.
